I have just produced a very limited edition print for The Order of Bards Ovates & Druids in Holland.It was originally designed in 1994 for a cover of a book by Helena Patterson illustrating the 13 signs of the Celtic Zodiac. Its limited to only 20, signed and numbered with only 5 left at $50 including postage.The size is A3 420mm x 297mm. Carpet design from the Book of Kells
I recently completed a carpet design from the Book of Kells and was the result of 3 months work to complete. I built the badly damaged image up from a variety of old and new photographs to work from, each in their own way revealing sections that the other prints didnt.
The design will be taken to India and made into a silk carpet, I hope to have photos of the finished piece to show you when its ready.

All new to me!
WELCOME TO MY BLOG PAGE
I have to admit to be pretty hopeless with computers and technology and had never heard of Blog until my web designer suggested the idea to me.
I get a lot of mail and I sometimes feel I don’t give back as much as I could through lack of time, so many apologies to those people. I am looking at this as an avenue I can answer most questions and not have to duplicate.
2006 as been a strange year for me with many ups and downs, starting with a down of separating from my wife. The up was a good show in Florida in January and trips to Delaware, New York, Chicago and Connecticut for appearances and business meetings.
The product range now includes Peter Stone, Mountain, Tree Free, Amber Lotus, Fellowship Foundry, Cuppa, Mill Street Tapestries and Funky People. I am currently working on a 5’x 4’ commission that will eventually become a silk carpet. The XPI design comes from the Book of Kells and it has so far taken 3 months to figure out the badly damaged page and rework the intricate panel so the patterns can be seen again. I have attached a photo of the rough for you to get an idea of the scale.
This year has been a very much up year for tattoo commissions which I always enjoy creating. The subjects are sometimes quite challenging so I have to dig deep to bring peoples ideas to fruition. I look forward to doing more in the future. Email me if you are looking for something in particular.
In October I shall in the States though the itinerary isn’t finalized yet it will include Chicago and Connecticut. I will keep you posted.
